Implants
An alternative to having bridge work done in your mouth is
to have natural-looking, secure dental implants put in. The
foundation for implants is surgically attached to the jaw, and
in some cases up to six months might be required for the
foundation elements to set. Artificial teeth are then made and
fitted to the foundation. Sometimes several fittings are
required to make sure the artificial teeth sit properly and
comfortably.
Since this is a more invasive surgical procedure involving
attaching replacement teeth directly to the bone in your jaw,
you will need a thorough evaluation from one of our dentists
to determine if you are a good candidate for implants.
